Cheesy Beef and Noodles Skillet

A comforting one-pan dish featuring creamy cheese, ground beef, and tender noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 12 oz egg noodles (or any pasta of your choice)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or whole milk)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Vegetables (optional): mushrooms, bell peppers, or peas
  • Spices (optional): red pepper flakes or cayenne

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add the ground beef (or turkey) and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Mix in paprika, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce to season the beef.
  5. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Add egg noodles and stir. Cook until noodles are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Lower the heat, add butter and heavy cream, and stir until well combined.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, cover the skillet, and let sit until cheese melts, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
